Dagger Phillips was born on Dec 11, 1978. He learned to play guitar while he was in highschool and for the most part learned the instrument on his own. After about a year of practicing on an old nylon string acoustic guitar, he got his first electric. He soon began to write songs and tried to form a band. He performed duets with a few people and formed his first band in 1997. He continued writing songs and recorded some of them. He played solo at school masses in front of thousands of people and some of his demos were used in his high school video-yearbook.

His favorite band is Bon Jovi and he is heavily influenced by them and other 80's bands like Poison, Motley Crue, Warrant, Mr. Big, and Slaughter. He usually prefers to play a heavily distorted electric guitar, but sometimes opts for his Fender accoustic on ballad-type songs. Some of his favorite original tunes to play are STRIP, I PROMISE, and NOT LIKE YOU.
